The Simpsons

The Simpsons campaign for MIC. It’s more than P.O.P. material: it was researched and developed end to end (point of sale and e-commerce) as a major activation of the collection. Each piece is carefully designed in terms of size and material, but above all, it complies with the guidelines set by Éxito, Olímpica, the licensors (Disney and Fox), MIC, and Maquila, as well as those of the consumer who purchases the product.
About the project
In retail and contract manufacturing, campaigns are planned on a Q (four-month period) basis. This Simpsons campaign was executed as a comprehensive initiative (in-store and e-commerce P.O.P.) rather than as isolated elements: first, the objective, the target audience, and each channel were analyzed, and the design was developed from there.
The challenge is to reconcile several manuals at once: the guidelines from Éxito and Olímpica, those from the license (Disney and Fox), those from MIC and Maquila, and the needs of the user who purchases the product. The size and material of each piece matter, but the priority is ensuring that everything is clearly legible in the store.
It was displayed in the clothing and merchandise stores operated by Éxito and Olímpica inside their supermarkets. The Simpsons, created by Matt Groening in 1989, is licensed by Disney and Fox; MIC markets it to its children’s (ages 4 to 14) and teen audiences.
